Khloe Kardashian feels unworthy after winning her sixth People’s Choice Award.
The star was named Reality TV Star of the Year for the sixth year running on Feb. 18. After being forced to miss the ceremony due to a migraine, she has reflected on her achievement.
“I can’t believe I won People’s Choice again! I really, really can’t. I am so incredibly thankful and blown away. This makes no sense to me. The very first couple years I thought ‘This has to be a fluke, people feel bad for me,’” Kardashian said in a video shared on Instagram.
“But now, this is my sixth year winning. Sixth! That is sort of hard for my brain to understand. I don’t feel worthy. I love you guys so much. I can’t even believe that like … six years. Really? And not just for me. I’m so grateful for my family show, ‘The Kardashians’, I mean, it’s really just so special,” she added.
Alongside the video, Kardashian expressed a similar sentiment in an emotional caption.
“Wow! I truly don’t have the words to fully express my gratitude!!!! This is a short video of me trying to find the words I am blown away!!!! I am so thankful! I love you so so much!! Truly! Words are just words but I hope you can feel my love and admiration for each and everyone one of you!!” she wrote.
“Thank you to everyone who voted,” Kardashian added. “Thank you so much to @peopleschoice and to @kardashianshulu. I can’t believe I have won 6 years in a row. Truly I thought the first few years was a fluke or a sympathy win lol this is wild!!! God bless you all! I love you! I feel terrible I wasn’t there. Damn these migraines! Ugh ok I’ll stop rambling. I’m just so taken a back and excited wow! I still can’t get over this.”
In a text post alongside the video, she also reflected on her journey over “the last 17 years and 24 seasons.”
“I was only 22 when we started filming our show, and I never could have imagined back then the journey we would go on, and the amazing community that would come on this wild ride with us,” Kardashian said.
